Angel
& Debbie Figueroa have received national acclaim for their performances,
choreography, and dance instruction. They have diverse individual backgrounds
including championships in west coast swing, country and western, hustle,
salsa, ballroom, latin, and cabaret. They have won many Professional/Invitational
Jack and Jill and Strictly Swing divisions at national competitions. Most
recently, Debbie is the 2002 America’s Classic Strictly Swing Champion,
and the 2003 Phoenix Champion of Champions Jack and Jill Champion. Angel
is the 2002 America’s Classic Jack and Jill Champion, and the 2001
Phoenix Champion of Champions Jack and Jill Champion. Together, Debbie and
Angel have won the Showcase Swing Division at the 2003 USA Grand Nationals
and the 2003 North Atlantic Dance Championships, as well as many first places
in the Classic Division at national swing competitions. Currently, Debbie
and Angel live and teach in Austin, Texas and continue to teach, judge,
